Lyrical Veil Choreography
Aziza is recognized globally for her mastery of dancing with silk veils. In this workshop, she will share an advanced contemporary veil choreography full of elegant and clever manipulations sure to challenge and inspire. Explore the concept of silk being an extension of your body, and your body an extension of the music. This lyrical veil choreography is set to the haunting remake of Ya Masfer Wahdak by Hana Malhaus.
*Recommended that you bring a rectangular silk veil. Limited veils are available for borrow or purchase.
Difficulty: All dancers who enjoy a challenge are welcome to attend this intermediate/advanced level class.
Please bring: A rectangular silk veil, your favorite reusable water container. L&C DOES NOT ALLOW DISPOSABLE WATER BOTTLES ONSITE.
Optional: Dance shoes, exercise towel, yoga mat, or a pad and pen for notes.
