Getting Around:

The Artist's Repertory Theatre building, where the festival is held, is located in NW Portland near PGE park.

The address is 1515 SW Morrison St, Portland, OR 97205

*Trimet trimet.org (the ART is jut two blocks east of the Providence Field MAX Station)

Our local public transport company, Trimet, has a truly awesome Trip Planner on their website where you can search your exact time and destination requirements and it will tell you exactly what to do to get around with MAX, bus, streetcar and walking. Trip Planner is available throughout the entire Portland-metro area. Adult Fare (good for bus, MAX AND streetcar) is $2.40 for 2-hours, or 5$ for all-day.

We highly recommend riding public transport to the festival--Bus lines 15 and 51 both stop at the building, and the Providence Field MAX station stops are just two blocks west of the festival.

Need to get to the festival from the Airport?  Take MAX from the lobby of the PDX airport, practically to our door!

*Radio Cab Or Green Cab

PARKING: There is ample metered street parking around the buildings, from 90m to 5hr limits.  Street parking is free after 7p.  Artist Rep sits on two parking lots run by City Center Parking, which charges $7.50 a day (less on weekends).  They can be accessed on SW 16th and SW Alder.

Where to Stay:

*Hotels, Any downtown or inner eastside hotel along the MAX line is within perfectly reasonable travel distance.  There are a myriad of hotels along the MAX line, which you can check out on Google Maps  (click the 'Transit' option under the 'Traffic' toggle to see transit lines).  We're also within easy walking distance of the Ace Hotel, McMenamins Crystal Hotel (soaking pool!), and we're across the street from the swanky Hotel Deluxe.  (If you choose Hotel Deluxe, we call room party!!)

*Airbnb, https://www.airbnb.com/ a service that allows homeowners to register and rent out their guest rooms and guest houses.

*NW Portland International Hostel, walking distance to ART. They have both private and shared rooms as well as group housing options and a guesthouse. http://nwportlandhostel.com/

*You can also try posting on the Facebook forums JamBallah NW Classses Wanted/To Sell and Travelshare, or Portland, Oregon Bellydance Community, to see if any locals have a couch they'd let you surf on for the weekend.
